Media and Digital Literacy

Why is media and digital literacy so imprtant?
Well media is all around us. Some appropriate and some not so much. Media Literacy is so people can participate in media, but also know how to interpret it.  Since media is almost everywhere digital literacy is very important.  Media can define reality. Meaning if someone really liked a show that had bad behaviors (yes im talking to you jersey shore) then people might feel like they want to  be like them.  Which can lead to other people acting like that person.  So now Media has defined reality.  I hope now you will all go out and have a postive experiance with all the types of media out there. Remember media literacy is an important thing.
